About the Event

Being a parent has never been described as easy, but being a parent that lives with a Neurodiversity can create even more challenges that don't seem to have answers that actually help them feel more confident as a parent and an individual.

If this sounds like you, you are in the right place.  My name is Jennifer Butler and at the age of 39 and as a mother of two young children, I discovered that I had been living on the Autism Spectrum all my life. Much like many adults that are stepping into parenting, I didn't know that choosing to be a parent would completely turn my world upside down. I used to "joke" that my kids "broke me" but I have come to realize that I was Broken Open when I became a mother.

All of my life long skills I had developled to maintain my comfort within the world were thrown out the window.  What used to comfort me (quite, space, time alone) now caused me a significant amount of distress (can we say "mom guilt")! through countless hours of therapy, coaching, and self development I finally feel like there is solid ground under my feet - then the diagnosis. It's been a whirlwind of re-adjustments and reframing that continually has me growing and stepping into the discomfort of acceptance.

Now it's time for me to walk with you, Divergent Parents, and guide you to your own acceptance.

Are you ready to acceptance your super powers? Learn how to set loving boundaries with your family to support your best life ever?

Let's Go.
